Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that clean and vacuum offer the convenience of cleaning both dry and wet messes in one time without the need to switch between devices. They can also reduce space in comparison to two separate units, especially in smaller living areas.
A good combination bot will be able to navigate well and have excellent obstacles avoidance. Look for models that have docks that allow them to automatically empty their bins, refill their water tanks and wash the mopping pads.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It's one of the easiest robots to install that we've tested. Unpacking is simple, and the quick-start guide gets you up and running in no time with an entire dust bag, water tank and hard floor solution.
The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can vacuum and mop well. Its mops spin at high speeds and exert 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, allowing for quick removal of pet hair, dirt, and dried sticky spills. The vacuum has four power modes, a selection of attachments and brushes, and a user-friendly app that lets you choose the kind of cleaning you'd like for each room.
For instance, you can opt for the robot to take care of a thorough clean-up in the kitchen and living rooms but be careful with the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro's front colision sensors and smart navigation technology are superb, with the robot being able to detect tiny obstacles that other models struggle with. Its only issue is that it is known to smash into walls and objects at a high speed. However looking at the history of cleaning on the app will show you exactly what the robot done, where it is going, and which obstacles it has stumbled upon or avoided.

A large LCD screen on the docking station shows you when maintenance tasks must be completed, such as emptying the debris tray, and rinsing its dirty water tank. It also mixes detergent into the tank in a controlled manner with a 600ml of eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop are able to run for a long time as well, with the mop being able to operate for 184 minutes in Quiet mode and the vacuum capable of running for 136 minutes in normal mode before having to recharge or return to the base to replenish. The app is simple to use and intuitive, allowing you to view every aspect of the cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the most recent version of Roborock's top-of-the-line robot mop and vacuum, is the newest version. Unlike click the following web page comes with an agitator that doubles in its mopping pad, which significantly enhances its carpet cleaning abilities. The S8 Pro Ultra also has enhanced suction power, which allows it to pick up fine hairs and other debris that other robotic cleaners might miss.
This Roborock model, just like the other two I tried is equipped with infrared and 3D obstacle avoidance technology that helps it avoid obstacles such as walls, furniture and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further and incorporates a dual-camera that can identify objects, determining whether they are walls or other surfaces. It will then automatically alter its path and clean around the objects without a pause.
It's the most expensive model I've tried, but it also has the most features. Its sleek and angular design is striking and has just three physical buttons: the power button, which also resumes cleaning; a mop-only button that doubles as a child lock; and a home button to bring the robot back to its dock. The hinged lid can be lifted to reveal a 350ml dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank will empty itself, and the bin is auto-refilling.
The only issue I have found with this model is that the VibraRise mop pad mount isn't movable. It is possible to replace the mopping cloth if needed, but it's difficult to remove the mount for manual washing. I've noticed that any plush carpet that the robot passes will be in contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener mechanism on the mount, and could cause abrasions.
The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a number intelligent features including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. You can configure and manage these through the Roborock app, which is also the home of its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app allows you to schedule cleanings and monitor battery life. You'll need to jump through a series of steps to activate voice control on this model. This is a shame considering how efficient it is otherwise.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop that has incredible suction power, sophisticated mowing capabilities, and innovative features. Its smart design allows users to tailor and effectively clean while reducing time.
The X40 is the first robot vacuum cleaner that can deliver 12,000 Pascals of cleaning power, which easily makes it one of the best alternatives available. This powerful vacuum is able to clean up pet hair as well as crumbs and other dry mess. It also has a high-quality mop that leaves hard floors sparkling clean, even with a wet pad. The X40 is also extremely quiet while in use with only occasional bursts during mode changes or self-maintenance.
The X40 has an additional side brush that can be extended and lifted. This allows it to reach into corners that are hard to reach and clean furniture that is curved such as table and chair legs. The robot can also reach under furniture with low profile which makes it an ideal option for apartments with small spaces or condos. The side brush also automatically lowers itself when it spots wet spots. This is a nice addition that helps the X40 avoid damaging floors with excessive back-and-forth movements.
In contrast to other robots that are limited to a single task, the X40 can mop and vacuum simultaneously. It can also be programmed to eliminate areas that have carpet and only mop hard floors, or reverse the process. It can be controlled using the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure that voice-controlled operations are smooth and easy.
The app is easy to use and intuitive The X40 is equipped with many clever features that are easy to set up. Users can program the X40 to clean at specific times, alter suction power and mode, view floor plans and mapping and manage mopping settings. The X40 can also track its progress and notify you when it's done.
The X40 is easy-to-maintain and offers numerous convenient features, making it a great option for busy families. The docking station automatically empty the trash bin into a 3.2 L bin, cleans the mop pads, and refills them with fresh water and cleaning solution. It also can detect if the mop pad is at its maximum capacity and notify you of the situation prior to it bursting.
4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that is among the most expensive available and comes with many extra features that distinguish it from. Smart DuoScrub, which is a new feature in its mop, utilizes two mop heads that are high-speed to scrub floors more thoroughly. It also has a maximum suction force of 7,000Pa. This is higher than Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also vacuum up pet hair, small dirt particles, and clean up spills and dirt-stained spots.
The mop mops are cleaned and dried in the base station every time they are used. This is an excellent feature as it stops the build-up of mould and unpleasant odours in the storage area, and it also makes the mop system more efficient. This is a feature we haven't seen in other robot mop and vacuum models. It could be a great way to keep your home cleaner longer.
There are a lot of options, including the ability to schedule cleanings and adjust preferences. These settings can be adjusted via the app or there are direct buttons on the device itself. The app is simple to use and has many options to customize your cleaning routine. It also comes with several functions that are not available on other robots, such as the Clean Genius Mode, which automatically increases suction when it detects any dust particles.
The L20 Ultra is also one of the most fashionable robots we've seen on market, with metallic and white design that is elegant and stylish. It is a little heavier at 4kg than the other robots listed on this list but it's not too heavy. It feels solid and well-built. Mopping is well designed and the double-rotating mop works well on hard floors or in corners. The MopExtend feature allows them to extend up to 2mm below the baseboards.
